Implementation Engineer

We are seeking a bright, highly motivated individual to join our in-house team as an Implementation Engineer for our Client Success team. You must be a quick learner, a problem solver, have a lot of patience, and have great writing and communications skills.

The kind of work you’ll be doing

  • You’ll work closely with the customers’ IT team on the implementation of healthcare IT solutions 
  • Reviewing documents, workflow and plans for implementation with customers/vendors
  • Installing and configuring interfaces and our EntryPoint platform
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex implementation issues in regards to interface and information exchanges
  • Providing interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the Client Success procedures
  • Demonstrating leadership to define requirements for project risk
  • Developing solutions with the latest tools

Required qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in Healthcare IT
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Experience with networking, authentication, encryption mechanisms an asset
  • Experience working and configuring Windows server 2008 R2 to 2016
  • Experience with Healthcare IT standards ie. HL7, ADFS, etc. an asset
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions an asset
  • Experience working within an IT Help Desk capacity an asset 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills - you are most definitely a people-person
  • The ability to think creatively and apply your well-developed problem solving skills
  • The ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team capacity
  • The ability to multi-task in a fun, fast-paced team environment while at the same time maintaining a professional relationship with our clients.
