Technical Help Desk Intern (Summer Contract)

We are seeking a bright, highly motivated individual to join our in-house team as a Technical Support Intern for our Client Success team. The ideal candidate is quick learner, a great problem solver, has a lot of patience, is fantastic with clients and has great communication skills (both written and verbal).

The kind of work you'll be doing:

  • Take part in the planning and implementation of our Customer Engagement Centre, including: Ticket Submission, Knowledge Base, and Chat Functionality
  • Validate documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Develop internal how-to and self-help articles for upload to the Knowledge Base
  • Field service desk requests via telephone, email, chat and ticketing platform
  • Perform software installations and configuration of web based platform
  • Report to the Manager of Technical Services

Required Qualification:

  • Degree (completed or in-process) in a Computer Sciences related field
  • Knowledge of PC hardware peripherals
  • Knowledge of accessing and utilizing remote virtualization and access platforms
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask many concurrent activities
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to take direction, follow procedure, and learn at a fast pace
